Lasith Malinga to lead Sri Lanka at T20

Sri Lanka National Cricket Selectors named a 15-member squad for the three T20 encounters at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium commencing on 1 September. The second T20 will take place on 3 September and the final one on 6 September.

Lasith Malinga was entrusted with the leadership while Niroshan Dickwella will be his deputy for the three encounters which will take place at Central Hills.

The 15-member squad includes Lasith Malinga (Captain), Niroshan Dickwella (Vice-Captain), Avishka Fernando, Kusal Janith Perera, Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Mendis, Shehan Jayasuriya, Dasun Shanaka, Wanindu Hasaranga, Akila Dananjaya, Lakshan Sandakan, Isuru Udana, Kasun Rajitha, Lahiru Kumara and Lahiru Madushanka.
