The Sri Lankan Indoor Cricket Team will leave on 6 January to embark on the second leg of a home and away Test series against England with their new title sponsor Cashwagon. This World Indoor Cricket Federation (WICF) sanctioned series will be held at the Action Indoor Cricket Stadium in Birmingham, England, and take place from 8 to 17 January.
The first leg of the series, held in Sri Lanka in April 2018, was won 6-0 by the hosts Sri Lanka. England now requires a series win at home to level the series.
Cashwagon has a developing history with cricket in Sri Lanka, including one of the company’s employees Malshan Rodrigo, a young, dynamic and energetic member of the national side. The sponsorship is seen as a natural extension of the growing relationship.

CEO Samila Fernando had similar encouraging remarks: “They have been following Indoor Cricket in Sri Lanka as fans for many years with pride at being able to play a small role in helping our talented team to complete a successful series against England.”
