Sri Lanka President’s XV got off to a flying start when they outclassed the alaysian Barbarians outfit 55/14 at the UPM Stadium in Malaysia.
At the short breather Sri Lanka President XV led 41/7.
Sri Lanka played well in the earlier half and defended well in the later half. Sri Lanka were able to score two converted tries to Malaysian’s one in the later half. Sri Lanka piled up a huge 41 points in the initial 10 minutes where the Malaysians could reply with only one converted try.
Sri Lanka in total scored nine tries with converting five of them while the home team scored two converted tries.
Sri Lanka President XV will play the Malaysia national side tomorrow at Bukit Jalil Stadium. (SJ)
