Sri Lanka and Pakistan have been announced as co-hosts of the 2018 Asia Cup for Emerging Teams. The tournament will begin on 6 December and conclude a week later with the final on 15 December.
Eight teams will be participating in the tournament, including four under-23 teams from Test nations and four top associate teams from Asia.
The teams will be separated into two groups of four, with Sri Lanka hosting all Group A games, the knockout stage and the final, while Pakistan will host all the Group B matches.
Group A will comprise Sri Lanka, India, Afghanistan and Oman, while Group B will be made up of Pakistan, Bangladesh, UAE and Hong Kong.
Sri Lanka’s first game will be at the Khettarama Stadium on 7 December, when they will take on Oman.
