The School Rugby League 2019, organised by Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SLSRFA), will be worked off from 1 March.
Schools League will commence on 1 March 1 and be completed by mid-May. Schools Sevens will follow with the Milo Knockout being worked off as the last tournament before the national outfit will be selected for the Asia Rugby Championship Under-19 event, which is likely to take place in Sri Lanka in December 2019. Royal will defend the Schools League while Joes will secure the Knockout trophy which they won last year. Soon after the conclusion of the League, Knockout will be worked off and will end within 14 days, giving time for the Kandy vs. Colombo two-leg encounter, which is used as a yardstick to select the national youth outfit for Junior Asian Tournament 2019.
