Singapore beat hosts Thailand 19/15 in the final of the Asia Rugby Under-19 Division I tournament at the Bang Bon Stadium in Bangkok. With this win, Singapore will be promoted to top division in 2019 and will replace the team ranking fourth in Taipei tomorrow.

Singapore beat China 36-5 in their semi-final and Thailand beat the Philippines 16/8 in the other semi-final. In the third place play-off, the Philippines beat China 33/19. (SJ)
