North Central Province made superb brand of rugby in the later half to beat Central province 35/20 in their Under-24 Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) league rugby encounter which concluded at Bernard Aluvihare Stadium in Matale yesterday.

At the short breather, NCP led 12/10. In another encounter last weekend, Western Province beat Southern Province 29/13 at the Thurstan ground. Western province remained unbeaten so far. Science Maroons SC continued their unbeaten run when they outclassed Peterson SC 62/7 at the Science College ground in Mount Lavinia Last weekend.
