Police Sports Club put up yet another sensational display when they made a bold second half comeback to beat Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club by 26 points (4 tries,3 conversions) to 18 points (2 tries, 1 conversion, 2 penalties) at Welisara yesterday.

At the short breather, it was Navy SC who led 8/7.

This was Police SC’s second win in three matches while the Sailors are searching for their first win this season. Today Kandy Sports Club will host Army Sports Club in their last home match in round one at Nittawela. Tomorrow, there will be two matches down for decision in Colombo. Havelock SC will host CH & FC at Havelock Park while Air Force will entertain CR & FC at Ratmalana. (SJ)
