SAGT hosts women’s rugby players for lunch

Sri Lanka women’s rugby team was hosted by their official sponsor South Asia Gateway Terminals (SAGT) for lunch recently in Colombo.

The women’s outfit, led by Sanjeewani Wijethilake, did remarkably well in all three legs, ending as Plate winners (fifth) in the Hong Kong, South Korea, and Colombo legs. This was the highest ranking Sri Lanka women’s have achieved in the Asian Region.

The team was coached by former Sri Lanka Sevens player Sudath Sampath.
