Former Kingswoodian, Kandy SC, Police SC and Navy SC player, Indian sevens coach Ronny Ibrahim took over as the Katugastota Antonians Head Coach for the remainder of the rugby season. They will play their four matches in the Plate segment and will need a minimum of a top two finish in their group.
Ronny took over from Sanjaya Amunugama in the coaching position where the Katugastota lads had a disastrous first round of matches losing out to Trinity, Royal, S. Thomas’, Kingswood, and St. Joseph’s. He will have Sri Lanka sevens player and Kandy SC centre Pradeep Liyanage as his deputy.
They will play their first game in round two against Maliyadeva at Pallekelle during the second week of May. (SJ)
