Dharmaraja College hold a clear edge over their traditional rivals Kingswood College when both teams battle it out at the 113th Big Match encounter which will take place on March 16 and 17 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
Rajans led by Sachintha Senanayake, Dulaj Bandara Isuru Dayananda and Kasun Gunawardena are star class players done well this season for the Rajans. In the Bowling department, Virajitha Ehelepola and Navod Dilshan will need to be at their best after having an ordinary season this time around. Thushan Herath and Samararatne did well for the Rajans this season with the bowl.
Kingswood, led by Deegayu Bandara, features Utpala Jayalath and Mihindu Ediriweera, who are good bowlers for the Randle Hills outfit. Their team is well supported by their all-rounder Harshana Wickremasinghe, who scored an unbeaten century against Matale Thomians. Lakmal de Silva, too, is a good bowler.
Kingswood lacked in their batting although Hashika Gamage, Duminda Damishka and Devinda Dissanayake got the start, but consistency is a major worry for the Kandy school.
