Novice NSB Carrom team wins dual championships

At the recently-concluded Sri Lanka Nationalised Services Novices Tournament 2019, Yohan Sampath of the NSB Team won the Singles Championship, beating the Bank of Ceylon team. The NSB team represented by Yohan Sampath and Asela Soysa won the Doubles Championship, beating the State Engineering Corporation team. This is the first time in the history of NSB that a carrom team has won both Singles and Doubles Championships in the Nationalised Services Carrom Association (NSCA) tournaments. The event was held at the Head Quarters of NSCA, Ganemulla, on 18 June.
