Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club pulled off a tough 41/30 win over Sri Lanka Army Sports Club in their Nippon Paint Inter Club Rugby League encounter which was worked off at Welisara last evening.

At the short breather winners led 29/18.

Tries for Navy SC were scored by Harsha Maduranga (2), Thanuja Malimbada (2) and Lahiru Herath while Thilina Weerasinghe and Samuel Maduwantha took the conversions and penalty, while the soldiers’ tries were scored by Ashan Bandara (2) and Sudaraka Dikkumbura while Isuru Medagedera put over the try conversions and took the penalties for the losers.
