NDB athletes shine at 36th Novices Badminton Championships 2019

Four NDB Athletes from the NDB Badminton Team emerged 2nd Runner-Up at the 36th Novices Badminton Championships 2019. Accordingly, Sudesh Fernando and Madusha Withanage emerged 2nd runners-up in the Veterans Mix Doubles event, while Gayathri Chandima and Punsara Jayalath emerged 2nd runners-up in the women’s Doubles event.

NDB emerged 2nd runner-up among over 45 companies and 354 mercantile participants at the event.

The NDB Staff Recreational Club encourages the bank’s staff to be a part of various sports and activities including, but not limited to athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, netball, football/rugby and swimming in addition to chess. The bank’s ultimate goal is to ensure employee satisfaction.
