Former Mahanama College and National Sevens sensation, Mithun Hapugoda will lead the Park Club in the 2019/2020 rugby season which will kick off in October.
Defending Clifford Cup champions will need an uphill task as they lost out as many as eight of their senior players to CH & FC and CR & FC this season.
Mithun playing for Havies for the last decade was an automatic choice for the national sevens outfit. Mithun Hapugoda will have the former Science College crack player, Lasindu Ishan as his deputy.
Lasindu who represented the national Under 18, Under 20, National Sevens and Fifteen’s player is one of the outstanding players in the last season for the Park Club where they ended as Runner-up in the league and won the Clifford Cup under veteran coach, Sanath Martis.
