Moors SC qualified to play Ragama CC in the final of the Major Club Under 23 cricket tournament when they took first innings points off SSC in the second semi-final which ended in a draw at Colts Grounds yesterday.
Moors SC continued from their overnight total of 137-4 declared at 239-9 with Janishka Perera making a top score of 72 and Katugastota Antonian left-arm spinner Nimnaka Jayathilake capturing five wickets. SSC in their turn were bowled out for 151 falling to former Zahira College Colombo off-spinner Imithiyaz Slaza who sliced through their batting to finish with six wickets for 93.
Moors SC and Ragama CC will meet in the final at the R. Premadasa Stadium on 21 and 22 March. (ST)
