The MCA 2021 season came a complete standstill due to the prevailing situation in the country.
The MCA Tournament Committee headed by Tarindra Kaluperuma on 6 May at a meeting via Zoom, decided to put on hold the ‘B’ and ‘D’ division tournaments which were scheduled for May.
Earlier, they postponed the MCA Premier League and the ‘G’ division final. The MCA Premier League, which commenced on 20 April, went far as 27 April, completing eight matches out of 13.
The ‘G’ division final between Pyramid Wilmer and Abans Group, scheduled for 2 May suffered the same fate.
