MCA G Division 25-over tournament resumes this weekend

The MCA will run the last lap of its 2020 league season by staging its ‘G’ division 25-over tournament for the ‘Honda’ Challenge Trophy, sponsored for the 10th successive year by Stafford Motor Co. Ltd.

The tournament with the participation of 17 teams will get underway on 13 and 14 March.

The 17 teams pooled into four groups are as follows.

Group A: Hayleys Group RC B, Zilione Technologies, Singer Sri Lanka B, NDB B and Aitken Spence Group
Group B: Hilton Colombo Residencies, Kish Group, MD Gunasena and Regnis Lanka
Group C: Pyramid Wilmer, VS Information, Ship Xpress and CIC Group
Group D: Abans Group, A Baur & Co., Orient Finance and ACL Cables

The Round Robin Stage, consisting 28 matches, commencing 13 March will run up to 28 March.

The second stage of the tournament, the ‘Knock-out’ is scheduled to take place on 3 to 4 April (pre-quarter finals), 10 April (quarter finals) 24-25 April (semi-finals) and final on 2 May at the MCA Grounds.
