MCA “D” division 40 Over League progresses to semi-finals

The ongoing third “CBL-Munchee” Trophy/MCA “D” division 40 Over League Tournament 2023, reached its semi-final stage.

During last weekend, the four quarter-finals were played at the MCA Grounds where:

MAS Bodyline beat Central Finance by seven wickets
Airport and Aviation Services beat Melwire Rolling by the skin of their teeth by three runs
David Pieris Motor Company “A” beat Trelleborg Lanka by 134 runs
MAS – Unichela beat Colombo Dock Yard by eight wickets

The tournament will take breather during festive time and will get back on track with the semi-finals, in the new year as follows:

First Semi Final: MAS Bodyline vs. Airport and Aviation Services on 3 January 2023 at the MCA Grounds
Second Semi Final: MAS Unichela vs. David Pieris Motor Company “A” on 5 January 2023 at the MCA Grounds

The final is scheduled to be played on Sunday 8 January 2023 at the MCA Grounds.
