The finalist schools of the Lyceum family, Lyceum International School Wattala and Lyceum International School Nugegoda played in the Grand Finals of the Inter-International Schools Under-19 Cricket Tournament 2022 that was held on 24 February at the Lyceum Wattala Grounds. Lyceum Wattala won the toss and elected to field first.
Lyceum Nugegoda scored 106 for the loss of 10 wickets in 20 overs. Their significant batsmanship includes Duvindu Silva who scored 35 runs for 31 balls and Karunyan Ponkovan who scored 26 runs for 44 balls. Rayan Perera 24/4 and Garuka Sanketh 10/2 bowled brilliantly for Lyceum Wattala. Janithu Jayathilaka 13/1 and Sethika Balasooriya 14/1 were the 2 wicket takers for Lyceum Nugegoda.
Lyceum Wattala made their day marking the victory by defeating Lyceum Nugegoda by 8 wickets. Their innings of 110 runs for 2 wickets in 13.3 overs includes some exceptional talents of Theekshan Abeyrathna who scored 40 runs for 34 balls, Sanujan Baskaran who scored 31 runs for 30 balls and Lakshitha Udesh who scored 26 runs for 15 balls.
Both schools from the Lyceum family advanced to the final after competing with other leading international schools of Sri Lanka during this Tournament. Man of the Match Final as well as Best Bowler awards went to Rayan Perera of Lyceum International School Wattala whilst Best Fielder award went to Jaron Fernando - Lyceum International School Wattala.

The British School Colombo and Gateway College Colombo met at Lyceum Wattala Grounds in their Consolation Match for the 3rd place in the Inter-International Schools Under-19 Cricket Tournament 2022, where Gateway Colombo marked their victory by 30 Runs.
Gateway Colombo won the toss and elected to bat first. Their team scored 160 for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Their key contributors were Amanullah Ahamed scoring 82 runs for 63 balls, and Kavindu Warnakulasooriya scoring 43 runs for 38 balls.
Best in bowling for British College included Aaryan Amalean 30/2, and Janindu Nandasena 12/3 for the winning Gateway College Colombo.
Shehzad Raskothwala scored 28 runs for 41 balls and Sashreek Vijaykumar scored 18 runs for 14 balls adding up runs for batting figures for British School Colombo where they reached the total of 130 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs.
The Player of the Tournament was Janindu Nandasena - Gateway College Colombo. Man of the Match Consolation Final - Amanulla Ahamed - Gateway College Colombo and Best Batsman - Kavya Shuqla - British School Colombo.
