Former New Zealand sevens star and present Trinity College Head Coach, Lote Raikabula, is tipped to take over the coaching duty at the revamped CH & FC at the Dialog Inter Club rugby season which will kick off later this year.
Lote represented the All Blacks in both forms of the game for Kiwiland in more than 60 IRB Sevens tournaments, playing in 20 tournament-winning teams. He has represented the New Zealand outfit in 5 IRB World Sevens series wins, one Rugby Sevens World Cup plus two Commonwealth Gold Medals (Melbourne and New Delhi). Raikabula represented Hawkes Bay in the domestic competition and has been coaching the Trinity outfit since 2016 as their Head Coach.
According to a reliable source, he will leave the island soon after the school rugby season and will be back before the Club season commences in November this year. Former Kingswood and Navy Head Coach Ronny Ibrahim will be the Rugby Consultant of the CH & FC outfit for the 2018/2019 season.
