Lewke to CR

Former Royal, CR & FC, Kandy SC, national player plus present Royal Head Coach, Dushantha Lewke will take over CR & FC for the 2019/2020 rugby season which will kick off in November 2019.

He will be assisted by Mohamed Mushtaq as the three quarter coach while Kishore Jahan the former Kandy SC player will be their forwards coach of the Red Shirt. Lewke who was the Head Coach of the Under 19 national unit will have an uphill task to bring CR in to a winning formula. They have not accounted for the league for more than two decades. Royal skipper, Thulaib Hassen, Fadhil Adhan and Kalindu Nandila will be playing for the Longdon Place Club.
