The Football Federation of Sri Lanka has picked a 22-member squad plus 11 officials to represent Sri Lanka for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 – Preliminary Competition AFC Asian Cup China 2023 Qualifiers. Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 2 Group H centralised matches are to be held in South Korea.
Sri Lanka will be facing Lebanon on 5 June at 11:30 a.m. in the first match and Korea Republic on 9 June at 4:30 p.m. in the second game. Both the matches will be played at Goyang Stadium, Goyang City.
The team led by goalkeeper Sujan Perera will leave for South Korea on 31 May.
