Lakshan injured; out of practice games

Lanka Premier League 2020’s Emerging Player of the Tournament Dhananjaya Lakshan will not be participating in the two practice games alongside the rest of the Sri Lankan squad due to an injury, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) confirmed in a statement.

Following is SLC’s statement.

“Dhananjaya Lakshan suffered an injury to his right knee while fielding during a training session on 14 June. The player is undergoing rehabilitation and will not take part in the two practice games scheduled for 16 and 18 June.”
