Yehani Kuruppu (Visaka) and Ilham Osmone (D.S. Senanayake) stamped their class at the Sri Lanka Junior Open Squash Championship 2021, which took place at the SSC Squash Courts recently.
In the Boys Under-19 Final, Nevindu Lakman after winning the first game in a tight contest 12/10 lost the fire power when Ilham made a bold comeback to win the last three sets 11/4, 11/6, 11/8.
In the Girls Under-19 final, Yehani Kuruppu went on to win in another tightly contested four-setter after losing the first set 11/9. The Visaka girl came back aggressively to secure the next three sets 11/9, 15/3, 11/7.
