Jamal promoted to SP

Former Isipathana, Police SC and Sri Lanka fly half, Nizam Jamaldeen was promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) recently.

Jamaldeen, who is currently the President of Sri Lanka Rugby Referees’ Society played for Isipathana in 1984-85 and later went to represent Police SC and Sri Lanka as a fly half.

Jamaldeen also represented the country in five Asiads (earlier Asian Tournament) and several international Sevens tournaments.
