Italy to host World Rugby U20 Championship 2020

Japan Under-20 will represent Asia in tandem

Italy will host the World Rugby Under 20 Championship 2020 from June 28 to July 18.

The 12 teams will be divided in to three groups, with the best 1st runner-up across the three groups to be the last team to secure their berth for the semi-final encounters. Italy, having hosted this event earlier in 2011 and 2015, will be third time lucky to get this global event in a football-crazy country.

Japan will be the sole representative from Asia Rugby for this event. (SJ)
