Sri Lanka Cricket has announced IFS, the global cloud enterprise software company, as the National T20 Team’s ‘Back of Jersey Branding’ partner for the T20I series with England.
IFS develops and delivers enterprise software solutions for companies around the world that manufacture and distribute goods, build and maintain assets, and manage service-focused operations.
IFS is one of the leading software development companies in the country and an integral part of IFS’s global operations. Today IFS employs over 1,500 staff in Sri Lanka working with product research and development, sales, implementation, consulting services, and product support.
Under the agreement, IFS will partner with Sri Lanka Cricket with effect from 08th to 27th June 2021, during which the Sri Lanka National T20 team will play three T20I matches against England.
The three T20I matches will be played on 23, 24 and 26 June.
The first two games will be played at the Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, and the final match at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton.
The T20I series is a part of Sri Lanka’s white-ball tour to England, which will also see both teams playing a three match ODI series.
Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ashley De Silva commenting on the partnership said: “We are happy to see IFS coming on board to partner Sri Lanka Cricket, and this partnership, which is in a format where speed and agility plays a critical role in winning, will provide greater visibility for the enterprise solutions provider.”
IFS is making its entry at a time when Sri Lanka, the former ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Winner, is gearing up to compete in the T20I World Cup, scheduled to take place later this year.
Commenting on the love and passion for the game by staff, partners, and customers in Sri Lanka and some of IFS’s key markets, IFS Sri Lanka operations Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Ranil Rajapakse said: “We are happy to partner with Sri Lanka Cricket, and take pride in being a sponsor of the Sri Lanka National T20 Team. We wish the team every success in the upcoming series.”
