Hayleys beat John Keells in Singer-MCA Premier League

Hayleys Group registered their third successive win, beating John Keells by two wickets, in the 28th Singer-MCA Premier League 2021, continued on Sunday, 25 April.

HNB, after two defeats, secured their first win by beating CDB by 10 runs, thus gaining sweet revenge over their first round loss to CDB.

Lahiru Madusanka from CDB grabbed the tournament bowling spotlight with incredible figures of 9.2/2/31/05 against HNB; Madusanka takes over from his teammate, Tharindu Ratnayake, who finished with 10/50/05 against Hayleys.

Ironically Lahiru Madusanka’s and Tharindu Ratnayake’s bowling efforts were in vain as CDB ended in the losing side on both occasions.
