Havies to continue winning streak
The Park Club placed on top at present in the Inter Club League, will be a firm favoured team when they meet their traditional rivals CR and FC at Longdon Place tomorrow.
Havies as usual under Sanath Martis lived up to the expected high standards. Skipper and former Isipathana player, Shenal Deelaka, Sandesh Jayawickrema, Lasindu Karunathilake and Azmeer Fajudeen are their leading players in the Park Club.
Meanwhile, the Red Shirts going through a lean patch will be expecting a comeback sooner than later. Led by Kavindu de Costa, Shehan Kelaniyagoda, Supun Warunakulasuriya and Kanchana Ramanayake all top class players. Red Shirts forwards displayed quality rugby in their game in the Hills will need good repeated performances lasting for the full 80 minutes.
On form Havies should maintain their unbeaten run for yet another week.

Kandy to continue unbeaten run
Kandy will be minus few of their forwards who will be rested as they are on the verge of recovery from COVID. Their encounter against Havies was too postponed due to this.
Kandy holds the key with their powerful three quarter line. Roshan Weeraratne, Tharinda Ratwatte, Buddhima Piyaratna, Danushka Dange and Jason Dissanayake are all national plus experienced players.
Return of Shehan Pathirana gives a big boost for the forwards line. He comes in from retirement to help his club which is great news for their forwards. He will be available till the second round two and had returned to Kandy due to the urgent requirement of the club.
Police SC are placed number four having played cohesive rugby this season. Irosh Silva, Sachith Silva and Wageesha all in peak form. But playing at Nittawela, Kandy holds the edge to continue their unbeaten run.
