Both young golfing talent in the country, Haroon Aslam and Kaya Daluwatte accounted for the Gold Segment at the P&S Sri Lanka Junior Open Golf Championship 2022 event which concluded at the Royal Colombo Golf Club yesterday. This event was teed off for Rukmini Kodagoda Trophy.

Both Haroon Aslam and Kaya Daluwatte showed lot of promise in the three days of golf to enter the final stages. Haroon beat K. Danushan while Kaya got the better of Sherin Balasuriya. Meanwhile another sensational golfer just 14 years of age from CIS Colombo, Reshan Algama accounted for the Silver when he beat Jacob Norton. Reshan Algama and Haroon Aslam will represent at the annual Burdette Trophy in Nuwara-Eliya this weekend representing the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC).

Meanwhile in the Bronze division, Thejas Rathis Kanth beat Saqeeb Zuhar and in the Coper division Yuva Rathis Kanth beat Danik Daluwatte. The event was sponsored by P&S.
