Mithum Hapugoda will reach a personal milestone in his rugby career by playing in his 100th game when his team Havelocks lock horns with Kandy SC in a crucial inter club rugby match today at Havelock Park.

Mithum made his club debut way back in 2012 for Havelocks against Army in a rugby league game, Hapugoda has donned the Park Club Jersey for over a decade, maintaining his loyalty to the club without swapping clubs for petty benefits.
An old boy of Mahanama College, Colombo, he is a specialised player in the back division. He has also played as a winger and scrum half, while playing a pivotal role in being the last man in defence as a full back.
He was chosen to lead the Sri Lanka sevens national team in 2014, later moving into the 15-a side at the same level. He is a player who has maintained his physique and given his best whether in school, club or at National level.
