Gentle giant laid to rest

Former Sri Lanka athlete and administrator Ranjit Weerasena was laid to rest at the Roman Catholic Section of the Borella Cemetery yesterday amongst a distinguished gathering of old Peterites, past Sri Lankan 

athletes, and close friends. Weerasena, a top athlete and administrator, passed away on Tuesday (13 October).
