The highly-anticipated Sri Lankan leg of the Asia Rugby Sevens Series, powered by Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider Dialog Axiata, will kick off on 28 and 29 September at the picturesque Racecourse Grounds, Colombo.
The final Sri Lankan leg of the Asia Rugby Sevens Series will be broadcast live on Dialog Television channel number 77 and will also be available via live stream on the ThePapare.com and the Dialog MyTV mobile app. Entrance will be free for the public at the grounds. The tournament will kick off on 28 September from 1.30 p.m. onwards, while the following day’s matches will commence at 10.00 a.m.
Asian rugby giants Japan will defend their men’s and women’s Sevens titles against some stiff opposition, as Hong Kong, China, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, the Philippines and others promise some heart-pounding action. The Tuskers are expected to make further inroads in Colombo, after their spirited performance in South Korea and China.
Sri Lanka will play their first game against South Korea on 28 September at 2.58 p.m. and their second game against Hong Kong at 6.38 p.m. under lights.
