Despite the Proteas’ 27-run loss to Pakistan in the third and final T20 match played on Wednesday evening, they still managed to clinch the series 2-1.
Their form was superb this summer, winning the Test series 3-0, the ODI series 3-2 and the T20 series 2-1. These results certainly helped boost the confidence of the South African squads ahead of the Sri Lanka tour to the country, which will entail two Test matches, five ODIs and three T20 matches before the focus shifts to the ICC Cricket World Cup. The first Test is scheduled for 13-17 February. (Source: zululandobserver.co.za)
