The Clems Pirates Rugby Football Club from New Castle, England arrived in the island last night.
They will play two games against CR&FC and Navy SC on their nine-day tour of Sri Lanka. They will kick off the tour with the game against CR&FC at Longdon Place tomorrow and will play Sri Lanka Navy at Welisara on 15 May. CR will be led by former Vidyartha and national Sevens player Kavindu Perera with Tharinda Ratwatte serving as his deputy. The team will also include Omalka Gunaratne, Reza Rafaideen, Rehan Silva and Kavindu De Costa. The CR&FC encounter kicks off at 4.30 p.m. (SJ)
