CH & FC scored their first win this season when they edged out Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club by 23 points (2 tries, 2 conversions, 3 penalties) to 21 points (2 tries, 1 conversion, 3 penalties) at the Racecourse rugby ground yesterday.
At the short breather, it was Navy who led 13/6. Navy SC’s two tries were scored by Fijian Seru Ketetoga, while the conversion was taken by Isuru Kongahawatte and Chathura Seneviratne put over three penalties. CH & FC’s tries were scored by Sudarshana Muthuthanthri and Chathura Dilshan, who also performed kicking duties for CH & FC.
