Bopara and Moores to replace two WI players for Kandy Warriors

West Indians Rovman Powell – who nearly single-handedly won Wednesday’s LPL match for the Kandy Warriors against Jaffna Kings, hitting the second fastest fifty in T20 cricket off 15 balls – and Devon Thomas left Sri Lanka yesterday to join the West Indies white-ball team in Pakistan.

Both Powell and Thomas play for the Warriors and will be replaced by England pair Ravi Bopara and Tom Moores, who arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday.
