Athletes shortlisted for Asian Games 2018

The Sri Lanka Athletics Association shortlisted 22 athletes for the 18th Asian Games which will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia from 18 August to 2 September.

The final approval is under the watchful eyes of the Minister of Sports and National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka.

Men’s: Aruna Dharshana, Vinod De Silva, Kalinga Kumarage, Hemantha Kumara, Janaka Wimalasiri, Indunil Herath, Dhanushka Piyaratne, Ushan Thivanka, Himasha Ehshan, Yupun Abeykoon, Shehan Ambepitiya, Dilip Ruwan, Ajjith Premakumar, Pasindu Kodikara, Sumedha Ranasinghe, Mohamed Ashraff, Anjana Gunaratne and D. Wijeratne. Women’s: Rumeshika Ratnayake, Nimali Liyanarachchi, Gayanthika Abeyratne and Nilanthi Ratnayake.
