Asia Rugby U20 Sevens will kick off In Hong Kong tomorrow, 10 August, at the Kings Park Ground in Kowloon.
Pool A will see top seed and reigning Champions Hong Kong face Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand while in Pool B has last year’s Runner-up and 2016 Champions Sri Lanka, who will take on Taipei, Singapore, and China in their Pool games. Hong Kong, who are favourites to defend their tile, won the 2017 crown in emphatic style. In last year’s final, Hong Kong defeated Sri Lanka 36/0. The victory over Sri Lanka in the decider saw Hong Kong win back the title they held in 2014 and 2015. The Sri Lankan team, led by Naveen Henakankanamge, arrived in Hong Kong yesterday and immediately got in to their training gear. They will have two sessions today as well.
