St. Anthony’s College, Katugastota will get a sprinkler system in the near future. This was disclosed by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) President Shammi Silva who visited the central hills recently. As requested by Antonian authorities, they will also get side wickets and a scoreboard.
SLC has already provided other cricket gear to the Antonians who have produced many national cricketers in the past with the game of cricket getting priority above other sports.
SLC President Silva, Sujeewa Godaliyadde, St. Anthony’s Principal Father Henry Bernard Wijeratne, Antonians Cricket Wing Vice Patron Ranjith Peiris, Kandy District Cricket Association President Roland Perera, Secretary Janaka Pathirana, Treasurer Chandra Mahawattage, Malcolm Perera, Anton Perera, Provincial Coach, Lakshaman Panditharatne and committee members participated in this event.
