AIA Global Ambassador Harry Kane becomes England’s all-time record goal scorer

AIA Global Ambassador and Spurs player Harry Kane has become England’s all-time record goal scorer at 54 goals in 81 caps for the Three Lions.

The Academy graduate who only recently became the club’s all-time goal scorer completed an incredible double milestone by converting a penalty in England’s 2-1 victory against Italy in UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying on Thursday evening.

This record takes him ahead of Wayne Rooney’s mark of 53. Rooney’s record had stood since 2016 – Harry was on the pitch when he converted a penalty against Switzerland at Wembley to overtake Bobby Charlton’s 49.

There is strong Spurs representation in England’s all-time goal scoring list. Harry is joined in the top 10 by the club’s former strikers Gary Lineker, Jimmy Greaves and Vivian Woodward, whose record stood for 47 years before being toppled by Tom Finney in 1958.
