7 Finals of 26th MSBA League Men’s & Women’s Basketball this week

The seven Finals of the 26th MSBA League Men’s & Women’s Basketball Tournament 2016, with the participation of 47 teams, consisting of 128 matches, will be held from 11 to 14 October at the Edward Henry Pedris Courts, Havelock Town, Colombo 5. 

In the Men’s Tournament 38 teams are participating in five divisions and in the Women’s Tournament nine teams are participating in two divisions.

Men’s “A” division/six teams in a single group: Union Assurance will meet HNB and DFCC Bank will meet Commercial Credit in the Semi Finals. 

Men’s “B” division/four teams in a single group: John Keells Group will play SriLankan Airlines “A” and Dialog Axiata will play MAS Holdings “Reds” in the other Semi Finals. 

Men’s “C” division/five teams in a single group: NDB Bank will meet Kanrich Finance in the Final. 

Men’s “D” division/10 teams in two groups: Seylan Bank will meet Union Bank in the Final. 

Men’s “E” division/13 teams in two groups: WNS Global will meet Amana Bank in the Final. 

Women’s “A” division/four teams in a single group: Seylan Bank will meet HNB in the Final. 

Women’s “B” division/five teams in a single group: NDB Bank will meet MAS Holdings in the Final.
