15th SriLankan Airlines’ Golf Classic progresses to Day 2

The 15th SriLankan Airlines’ Golf Classic continued its second day yesterday despite adverse weather at the Victoria Golf and Country Resort course in Digana Kandy.

Over 100 amateur golfers from 18 nations across the globe are competing in the four-day tournament. The international line-up of keen, consistent golfers are being joined by over 100 Sri Lankan golfers who will increase the total number of participants to around 200 players, ensuring two absorbing days of golf on the par 73, 18-hole course overlooking the picturesque Victoria Reservoir. The SriLankan Golf Classic has attracted golfers from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, India, Malaysia, Kuwait, Canada, USA, Singapore, Thailand, China, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Italy, England, Spain, Australia, Japan and Saudi Arabia in addition to those from Sri Lanka.
