Women on boards: Boon or bane?

Over the years, although there has been an increased awareness of gender equality, in particular the need for balanced gender representation at every level of professional activity, one still sees only a very few females in high positions.

Tackling this pertinent issue, the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors hosted a discussion on the topic ‘A Female on the Board: Adds Colour, Seems Proper or Adds Value?’ from a Sri Lankan corporate perspective.
