Towards US$ 2.5 billion earnings target from export of Ceylon Tea by 2015

It was recently reported that the earnings from the export of tea last year amounted to US$ 1.3 b. Sri Lanka is targeting to grow its total export earnings from approximately US$ 8.3 b presently (i.e.2010), to US$ 15 b by 2015 and to an even higher target (US$ 20 b) by 2020.
