Outsourcing versus restructuring: A focus on LPO

In transforming Sri Lanka into a knowledge hub, knowledge process outsourcing activity has emerged to the forefront as a sector that will play a critical role in this conversion, especially as this is an area that ideally fits into the niche categorisation of Sri Lanka in the BPO sector. Recognising the growing significance of this sector, the Bar Association of Sri Lanka and the International Association of Young Lawyers hosted the country’s first ever outsourcing conference on legal process outsourcing titled ‘Outsourcing vs. Restructuring – challenges in international business structures’ yesterday.
