Celebrating the elegance of womanhood at TAJ

Marking International Women’s Day on 8 March, Area Director Sri Lanka and Maldives and General Manager of Taj Samudra, Colombo Sarabjeet Singh together with the team had special offerings to salute the associates of Taj Samudra.

It was a fun filled day for all Taj Samudra, Colombo associates and the event was held at ‘On Golden Pond’. Ambassador to Brazil Elizabeth Sophie Balsha and Senior Lecturer of Faculty of Law at the University of Colombo Dr. Jeeva Niriella graced the occasion by speaking to Taj Associates during the event.

Singh commented: “I am really proud to address the ladies at this forum at Taj Samudra, Colombo; where the first Woman Prime Minister in the World Sirimavo Bandaranaike also belongs to this country, Sri Lanka.”

Singh further said he would focus more on increasing gender diversity in the hotel and would upgrade the female locker rooms facilities by April 2017. He also mentioned the day care centre which has been in operation for the children of Taj Samudra employees since 2016.
