The Association of Professional Bankers – Sri Lanka is currently making elaborate arrangements to hold its 28th Anniversary Convention on 10 and 11 October at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.
The theme for this year’s Convention is ‘Thriving in a Digital World’, thus enabling the banking community to focus on the pervasive influence of digitalisation in the modern times and to explore the ways and means to march ahead with the conviction that digitalisation is a process within the control of the bankers and how they can and must reap benefits of the digitalisation to the fullest through adoption, adaptation or other innovations. The inaugural ceremony will be held on Monday, 10 October at the Oak Room of the Cinnamon Grand commencing 6 p.m. The highlights of the opening ceremony would be the Inaugural Address by the Chief Guest Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy, Governor, Central Bank of Sri Lanka; Keynote address by the Guest of Honour Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairperson, State Bank of India; and launching of the ‘APB Anniversary Volume 2016’.
The Technical Sessions comprising of six well researched presentations by eminent foreign and local speakers from the corporate world, three Panel Discussions and a CEOs’ Discussion will be held on Tuesday, 11 October.
