The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) in association with Shippers’ Academy Colombo (SA) will be conducting a workshop on ‘Proposed Exports Procedure in the Asycuda World System (Ver.1.1),’ which will be introduced to all exports from March 2012.
This workshop would be conducted with practical demonstrations of entry framing by Sri Lanka Customs, Officials from SLPA and BOC will be invited to participate in the panel.
It is very essential that all exporters and service providers attend this important educative workshop by nominating a senior manager and operations officers from the staff, who could understand basic data entry operations.
Under the Government’s e-Sri Lanka initiative, Sri Lanka Customs is moving towards automation of its activities and are promoting the trading community to understand the concept of the new operating system. In the coming months, further applications of a‘Asycuda World’ will be introduced to the trading community to train the trade on e-customs for exports.
